Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
publish.my makes it effortless to put a site online. Keep it lawful and respectful —
this policy explains what isn't allowed.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") applies to everyone who uses publish.my (the "Service")
and to all content published through it. It forms part of, and uses the same defined terms as, our
Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1Prohibited content
Do not publish, host, link to, or distribute any content that:
- Is illegal or promotes, facilitates, or instructs others in illegal activity.
- Sexually exploits or endangers children in any way. This includes child sexual
abuse material (CSAM). We have zero tolerance, will remove it immediately, and will report it to law
enforcement and relevant authorities.
- Infringes intellectual property — copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret —
or sells or distributes counterfeit goods.
- Is malicious — malware, viruses, ransomware, exploit kits, or code intended to
harm, gain unauthorised access to, or disrupt any system, device, or data.
- Is deceptive or fraudulent — phishing, scams, fake login pages, impersonation of
any person or brand, or content designed to deceive or defraud.
- Promotes violence or hate — incites or threatens violence, terrorism, or harm,
or attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation,
disability, or similar protected characteristics.
- Harasses or endangers others — harassment, bullying, threats, or publishing
private or personal information about others without consent ("doxxing").
- Is sexual content involving non-consent, or any adult content presented in a way
that is unlawful or that exposes minors to it.
- Involves regulated or dangerous goods in violation of law — for example illegal
drugs, weapons, or explosives.
- Violates privacy or data-protection law, or misuses personal data.
2Prohibited conduct
Regardless of the content, do not:
- Attack, probe, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure (including denial-of-service
attacks, flooding, or attempts to bypass security or rate limits).
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' sites or keys, or any related
systems or data.
- Circumvent or abuse usage limits, or create multiple deployments to evade limits, suspensions, or
detection.
- Use the Service primarily as a general file store, hotlinking/bandwidth source, proxy, or
redirector, rather than to host a website.
- Run cryptocurrency mining, botnets, or other resource-abusing or automated-abuse schemes.
- Send spam, or use sites hosted here in connection with unsolicited bulk messaging.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
3Technical limits
The Service hosts static sites only — no server-side code, databases, or backend
applications. You must stay within the published usage limits (such as upload size, file count, file
size, and monthly views). We may rate-limit or block requests that threaten the stability, security, or
fair use of the Service.
4Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including
removing or disabling content, suspending or terminating sites, keys, or access, and reporting unlawful
activity to the authorities. Where practical we may give notice or an opportunity to fix an issue, but
for serious violations — such as illegal content, fraud, or attacks on our systems — we may act
immediately and without notice. We may cooperate with law enforcement and respond to lawful requests.
5Reporting abuse
If you believe a site hosted on publish.my violates this Policy, please report it to
[email protected]. Include the site address (URL), a description of
the problem, and any supporting detail. For intellectual-property complaints, identify the work and your
rights to it. We review reports and act on genuine violations; we may share details of a report with the
relevant site operator or authorities as appropriate.
6Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and your
continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
